Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National park is also one of the most memorable adventure of a lifetime.
Those who can’t get enough of these primates in one day, we can also offer you the chance to fulfill your need with a second day of trekking. There are seven gorilla trekking groups that were habituated for tourism. Volcanoes is also well
known for its beautiful views of the undulating volcanoes of Mount Karisimbi, Sabyinyo, Muhabura, Gahinga and Bisoke.
Day 1: Arrival & transfer to Musanze in Ruhengeri
Our guide will greet you at your arrival at the airport or at the hotel in the morning and will give you a briefing about the whole safari.
You will then begin with a safari to Kigali, Rwanda’s capital city that was named in 1907 by Dr. Richard Kandat, who was also the first colonial resident governor of Rwanda. This is also the main administrative and economic center of Rwanda.
Its also surrounded by the lush hills of green and the cleanest and safest city with
in the region. This city’s fate is her fortune and a dramatic beauty that is named is derived. There are also other contributing factors and the city also delights the mind and the eye of any visitor and is also a city where the past lives comfortably with the present.
Along this tour, you will have a chance to view the following; the artisan shopping center, visit the Kigali museum, the tour around the city and see the post genocide development and expansion of the city as well as the Gisozi Genocide site.
You will then proceed to Musanze and to your hotel. The journey to Musanze and to your hotel.
The journey goes through the beautiful, hilly country side that gives Rwanda its height as the land of the thousand hills.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Early in the morning, you will transfer to the park headquarters for the pre trek briefing for the guests.as you follow the trek, you will also visit the Iby’Iwacu cultural village, based in the community near volcanoes National park.
Athi village, you will also have a wonderful and a very interactive adventure as you also learn about Rwanda’s culture, tradition, song and the dances. You will as well participate in one of our community development and the
conservation projects under the theme, Goat for gorillas.
There is also $50 community development and conservation fee that is charged and is also used to buy a goat through this project which is given to a farmer
poacher’s family after trekking the primates, you will also give the goat to one of the families living around the protect and conserve the gorillas and their habitant and the way for you to give back to both community and conservation.
As you drive back to the hotel, depending on the recent available time, we also offer you a choice of value added activities from the following; you might also visit Ruhengeri market were you will view the local Rwandan fabrics,
foods, hand craft, visit the twin lake ie Lake Burera and Lake Ruhondo with the view of the virunga mountain chain.

Day 3: Second day gorilla trekking
So early in the morning, transfer to the park offices for a pre- trek briefing for all the visitors and also choosing the gorilla group that you want to trek.
After the trek, we will then drive you to Gisenyi which is a lovely town that is located on the shores of the lake. This lake is also one of the great lakes in Africa and the largest of the fresh water lakes that radiance in the albertine rift of the Great Rift Valley.
The lake also stands at 1461m above sea level and is Africa’s highest lake.
The northern shore is also subjected to the eruptions from the near Mt Nyiragongo. Gisenyi also gives beautiful views of the lake and the Virunga volcanoes Massif.
With the water front and the sandy beaches, Gisenyi is a very good place to relax, with the feel of these tropical beaches resort. In the afternoon , we will also relax and we will also re-energizing the reward after the two days of trekking.

Day 4: Transfer to Kigali
Transfer to Kigali and have a stop in Nyiragarama for your lunch and also have a chance to tour the Urwibusto Eco tourism project.
This also started in 1983, when the owner opened a small restaurant and the bakery at the location. The next years, his business also grew and it has also been his mission since 1993 to become a leader with in the production and the processing of the organic fruits and the vegetables with in the area and in Rwanda.
This same enterprise also supports the local farmers and then contributes to the social and economic development in the area, thus giving the schools and education hence creating jobs and opportunities, mostly for the women and training of the farmers.
This also made the community of Rulindo district one of the most sustainable communities in Rwanda and a very good role model to others.
