This safari starts and ends in Kampala city of Uganda. It includes a gorilla permit worth $ 700 per person per day and a chimpanzee permit worth $200 per person per night.

This tour takes you to the primate destinations of Uganda; these include Bwindi impenetrable National Park and Kibale National Park.

You can as well encounter many other animal species including African elephants, monkeys and many bird species.

Upon your arrival at the airport, your driver guide welcomes and transfers you to your hotel for an overnight and dinner at Protea Hotel Entebbe (luxury)/Boma Guest House (Moderate) Airport Guest

Breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to Mabamba swamp to bird the shoebill stork. Spend some time here birding, return to the lodge for your early lunch and then transfer to Kibale National Park.

Arrive at the lodge and check in for dinner and overnight at Kyaninga safari Lodge ( luxury)/ Primate Lodge (
moderate)/ Kibale Forest Camp ( budget). Meal plan: Full board

Have breakfast and then head to the park head quarters for a briefing about the dos and don’ts of chimpanzee trekking. You are followed by the rangers who will help you in locating the chimps.

Once you meet them, you are given 1 hour to interact with these endangered species to interact and take photos.

After return to the lodge for lunch as you prepare for a visit to Bigodi wetlabd swamp to do some birding as well as view many other primate species including; the blue turaco, Goliath Herons, Malachite Kingfisher, pygmy Geese, spur winged, papyrus canary, brown throated weaver and carruther’s Cisticola.

After, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Kyaninga safari Lodge ( luxury)/ Primate Lodge (moderate)/ Kibale Forest Camp (budget). Meal plan: Full board

Have breakfast and then start your drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park.

Enjoy the scenic view of the vegetation as well as well as the forest. Upon your arrival at the lodge, check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, visit the nearby communities to learn about their way of life.

Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc the guides will
lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for.

Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth.
