Leave Kampala after having breakfast for the great drive through the papyrus swamps and the thick forests of the Nile delta to Kibale National Park under the famous mountains of the moon hotel.

Kibale national park has one of the loveliest and most diverse tracts of tropical forest in Uganda.

The park is dotted with patches of grassland and swamps as well as elevated plateau.

The park is famously known for chimpanzee trekking, and 70 mammal species, 375 bird species, 13 species of primates including the chimps.

Have lunch at Igongo cultural centre and after proceed to the park. Check in to the lodge and proceed for a guided walk in the crater lakes area of the park for the great cultural visit. Dinner and overnight at Kyaninga safari lodge/ Ndali Lodge (luxury)/ Primate lodge (mid range)/ Chimpanzee Guest

Early in the morning, have breakfast and then transfer to Kibale Head quarters before setting off for a forest walk to search for the chimpanzees.

This forest walk is guided to offer information not only on chimpanzees and primates as well as small organisms that make it very interesting. The walk will offer
you with other primates like the colobus monkeys, grey cheeked Mangabeys, baboons as well as the red tailed monkeys.

After tracking the chimps, drive to Queen Elizabeth national park and enjoy a boat cruise along the famous Kazinga channel where you view many hippos, buffaloes, kobs, elephants, and many
bird species.

Overnight and dinner at Mweya safari Lodge (Luxury)/ Enganzi safari Lodge (Mid range)/ Bush Lodge/ Simba safari lodge (Budget) . Meal plan: Full board

Start your day with a cup of coffee. And then drive along Kasenyi and the Queens mile where you are to meet many animals including; water bucks, buffalos, elephants, lions, kobs, warthogs, birds.

After, drive through the Ishasha sector with a chance of seeing the tree climbing lions before proceeding to Bwindi Forest National Park.

Start your day with heavy breakfast and by 8:00am proceed for briefing at UWA head quarters.

Make sure you carry along with you a rain jacket, snacks, drinking water, and jungle boots. The guides will lead you inside the forest to see these primates for a group you have been booked for.

Carry your lunch box and all the necessary gears to track the rare mountain gorilla which is the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth.

Tracking these wonderful species takes between 2 and 6 hours but it worth the
effort.

You are given 1 hour for interaction and taking photos. In the afternoon, you visit the nearby villages and give you an opportunity of seeing how people
surrounding Bwindi Forest live. It’s a great way of support to the local community in a direct way.

The walk starts with your guide who is so informative, rewarding to the average visitor. It will amaze you how local people live and there way of life.
