Akagera National Park is located along the eastern border of Rwanda were the hilly countryside that gives away to the savannah of the Great Rift Valley. It’s also dotted by the lakes, swamps and the marshland.

This area also has a large compliment of the nature and wildlife that can’t be found elsewhere in the country. This is also a unique habitant and a home to the big primates, birds, fish and many aquatic animals and the plant species.

Our guide will greet you at the hotel in the morning and then have a briefing about your safari. You will also drive to Akagera National park and pass through Rwanda’s land scapes and the living lifestyles.

You will also check in and after have your rest at the hotel. You will then continue on with a southern game drive alongside the lake Ihema circuit. There are also many animals that will be seen and some of these include; zebra, giraffe, buffaloes, hippos,
crocodiles and many mammal species.

It’s also known as one of the most scenic savannahs in East Africa, this game drive in the park will also give you an opportunity to view the gentle hills that mix beautifully with the low land swamps and the water bodies.

There is also the value added activities from the following; the evening walk, participating in day today local pastoral life style, a boat cruise and the presentation on the ecology of the park ecosystem and the conservation efforts.
